I know ONE thing to ask, what is the normal tradition for if you got pregnant in China? Do you have to get married? I am unsure as it maybe more clear to know what is tradition with pregnancy there.

Well Kat, I am not 100% sure about what I say. As far as I know, in the past, it was considered shameful to be pregnant before marriage (I mean, in mainland China, and in Asian, in general). But I know that nowadays, China (like Japan) is becoming more and more like the Western societies, and many people have sex without marriage. So, if you are pregnant (as in your case, in China), the family will just be a bit embarassed, but that's all. I mean, it won't be a big deal. Remember that Eastern Asian societies have so many things in common with the Western societies, and this is why we like each other (I mean we don't have too many cultural frictions); it is not like the Western world, and the Middle-Eastern cultures. You see, many Western people like Asian cultures, and many Asian people have Western first names!
