I think everyone knows who Utada Hikaru is 
She made two of her songs extremely popular when she decided to sell them to the computer gaming industry... in the end the songs became the theme for Kingdom of Hearts (the two songs are Sanctuary and Passion) Also for those who saw "Last Friends", the drama, the opening theme is a song called Prisoner of Love by Utada Hikaru.

I first heard her songs through amvs actually xD
But it was passion, from kingdom of hearts.
Then I found a song by her called 'Sakura drops'.
I think it was used on the Naruto soundtrack at some point :]
But yeah I like her stuff quite alot.
